Barista

Job description

We are urgently seeking a skilled and friendly barista to join our office team. As a barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional coffee and beverage service to our employees and guests. The ideal candidate should have a passion for coffee, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

– Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

– Ensure quality control by consistently following recipes and beverage standards

– Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils

– Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and resolving any issues or concerns

– Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register

– Restock inventory and monitor supplies to ensure availability

Requirements:

– Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred

– Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and latte art is an advantage

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

– Strong attention to detail

– Basic math skills for cash handling
