CCTV Technician

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

– Install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems in commercial and residential buildings.

– Conduct site surveys to determine the best locations for cameras and other equipment.

– Install and configure cameras, monitors, recording devices, and other necessary equipment.

– Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with CCTV systems, including camera malfunctions, connectivity problems, or recording errors.

– Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

– Provide training and support to end-users on how to properly use the CCTV system.

– Stay up-to-date with developments in CCTV technology and best practices.

Requirements:

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– Proven experience as a CCTV technician or similar role.

– Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and components.

– Familiarity with different types of cameras, lenses, and recording devices.

– Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
