Civil Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various civil engineering projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget and schedule. They will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to design and implement infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility and gather relevant data

– Develop detailed engineering plans, designs, and specifications

– Prepare cost estimates and budgets for proposed projects

– Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to plans, regulations, and safety standards

– Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to coordinate project activities

– Review and approve construction materials and methods

– Conduct quality control checks to ensure the integrity of completed projects

– Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and construction teams

– Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during project implementation

– Remain updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

– Proven experience as a Civil Engineer in Bahrain for at least 3 years

– Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards

– Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD)
