Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced computer operator to join our team for office operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring computer systems, ensuring their smooth operation, and resolving any technical issues that may arise. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

– Operate and monitor computer systems to ensure their efficient and effective functioning

– Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, disk clean-ups, and system updates

– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, or network connectivity

– Monitor the performance of computer systems and make necessary adjustments to optimize their performance

– Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve complex technical problems

– Maintain accurate records of system activities, including error logs and job schedules

– Provide support to end users by assisting with software installations, user account management, and troubleshooting

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a computer operator or in a similar role

– Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and operating systems

– Familiarity with various software applications and tools used in office environments

– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
