Kalman & Company is seeking to hire an Engineering Technician II to work onsite in Manama, Bahrain.

    Primary duties and responsibilities:
    • Assisting the Bahrain RIP Coordinator in all daily tasks and ensuring the completion of each assigned task as directed.
    • Provide technical knowledge to US Service Members when required.
    • Assist in and complete CBR Fit Test and Size (FT&S) missions and ensure accuracy of collected FT&S data.
    • Assist in, complete and properly document CBR, PPE and ATFP On Loads and Off Loads
    • Facilitate accurate inventory and warehouse operations of all assets by use of established warehouse management system (WMS) and quality management systems (QMS).
    • Perform quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities, by way of visual, technical and cyclic inspection on all CBR equipment utilizing established processes, procedures and technical guidance while complying to all safety, conduct and company policies and procedures as defined.
    • US Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance is required for this position.
      Specific Duties:

      • Provide Chemical, Biological, and Radiological (CBR), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Anti-Terror / Force Protection (ATFP) support to Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) Bahrain.
      • Assisting the Bahrain RIP Coordinator in all daily tasks and ensuring the completion of each assigned task as directed.
      • Provide technical knowledge to US Service Members when required.
      • Assist in and complete CBR Fit Test and Size (FT&S) missions and ensure accuracy of collected FT&S data.

        Required Education/Qualifications:

        • US Citizenship is required
        • Active Secret Security Clearance
        • High School diploma or GED is required.
        • Ability to work on one’s feet for up to 8 hours a day in a nonclimatecontrolled environment, and to be able to lift and handle material weighing up to 35 pounds.
          Preferred Education/Qualifications:

          • Experience within appropriate Navy CBR equipment is preferred.
