Job Summary Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related field
  • 5 – 8 years experience
  • Has proven knowledge of local Environmental legislation and standards.
  • Has experience in Environmental Impact Assessments, Management, Monitoring and Auditing. Experience in Marine Ecology surveys and assessment will be advantageous
  • Experienced & confident with report writing and presentation skills
  • Can communicate effectively and confidently with clients, colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships and always aiming to exceed client expectations
  • Must be organised, deadline oriented and able to prioritise tasks accordingly
  • Represent and promote ByrneLooby in a professional manner and develop effective working relationships with clients and potential clients
  • Is committed to Continued Professional Development

    Key Accountabilities

    • Working as member of a project team to deliver quality services to clients
    • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders to ensure that projects are kept on target
    • Creating and developing reports and presentations for submission to regulatory bodies
    • Ensures all environmental reports are in accordance with legislation and standards
    • Performing field work (land and sea), sampling, research and interpreting laboratory analysis results
    • Ability to prepare tender documentation
    • Performing other duties as assigned
