Our client is a well-known Luxury lounge for an Aviation company. The company has more than 600 employees in a vast number of divisions and departments.
They are currently looking for a
Executive Chef to be based in Bahrain.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and directing the Sous and Commi Chefs in the kitchen
- Developing unique and cuisineappropriate menus
- Staying current on developing trends in the industry
- Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
- Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors
- Hiring, training and supervising kitchen staff
- Assisting and directing kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating and delivery
- Identifying and introducing new culinary techniques
- Preparing meals and completing prep support as needed
Requirements:- Experience in 5star hotel will be an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices.
- Proficient knowledge of human resources management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Available to work oncall, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays
Salary:
