The Food Runner is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area. They will work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are accurately prepared and promptly delivered to guests. The Food Runner should have excellent communication skills and a pleasant personality in order to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the kitchen staff and waitstaff to ensure smooth and timely delivery of food orders.
– Double-check all orders for accuracy before delivering them to guests.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the food pickup station.
– Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff.
– Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed.
– Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Requirements:
– 1 to 2 years of experience as a food runner or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality industry.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
– Pleasant and professional demeanor with a customer-oriented approach.
– Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends
