HEAVY DRIVER

Job description

The Heavy Driver will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles and transporting goods or materials to various locations within Bahrain. They will ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:

– Drive heavy vehicles, such as trucks or trailers, to transport goods or materials to designated locations.

– Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured for transportation.

– Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition.

– Complete necessary documentation, such as delivery notes and logbooks, accurately and on time.

– Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing regular maintenance checks and reporting any issues or repairs needed.

– Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.

– Communicate with the dispatch team to receive instructions or updates on deliveries.

– Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients professionally.

Requirements:

– Valid Bahrain driving licence for heavy vehicles

– Proven experience as a Heavy Driver, preferably in a commercial or logistics environment.

– Good knowledge of Bahrain’s road network and traffic regulations.

– Ability to safely operate heavy vehicles and handle cargo loading/unloading
