We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team. The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining the organization’s computer systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a customer-service mindset, and a solid understanding of computer systems and IT best practices.
Responsibilities:
– Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware and software issues
– Troubleshoot computer systems, printers, routers, and other IT equipment
– Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
– Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth operation of computer systems and networks
– Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patches
– Set up new user accounts and manage security access controls
– Document all support activities, resolutions, and system changes
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the IT field
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred
– CompTIA A and CompTIA Net certifications are preferred
– 2 years of experience in an IT support role
– Excellent troubleshooting and problem
