Joinery Supervisor – Carpentry

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Supervisor – Carpentry to oversee and manage our joinery and fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient completion of all carpentry tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

– Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and joiners, providing guidance and support throughout the project.

– Review and understand joinery shop drawings, ensuring accurate interpretation and implementation.

– Monitor the progress and productivity of the team, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

– Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication.

– Conduct quality checks to ensure all joinery works meet the required standards.

– Provide training and mentorship to junior carpenters, as needed.

– Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years experience as a supervisor or foreman in joinery and fit-out projects.

2. Proficient in reading and understanding joinery shop drawings.

3. Advanced knowledge of joinery terminology.

4. Strong English proficiency preferred.

5. Excellent management skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team.
