Job description

We are seeking a Purchase Specialist, preferably a Filipino lady, to join our team. The Purchase Specialist will be responsible for researching and identifying prospective suppliers, liaising with internal project teams, and maintaining strong supplier relations. The role also involves evaluating products and suppliers based on key business criteria, preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities:

– Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers

– Evaluating suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery time

– Liaising with internal project teams to understand their purchasing needs

– Maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers

– Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers

– Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings

– Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of purchased items

– Reviewing and approving purchase orders

– Resolving any issues or disputes with suppliers

Requirements:

– Previous experience in purchasing or procurement roles is preferred

– Strong negotiation skills

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers

– Detail-oriented with good analytical skills

– Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

– Knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices

– Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
