Key Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance:

  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs by engaging in friendly conversations.
  • Provide expert advice on pet care products, including food, accessories, toys, and grooming supplies.
  • Actively listen to customer inquiries, identify their requirements, and offer suitable product recommendations.
  • Answer questions regarding pet health, nutrition, and product usage.Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products available in the store, including their features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Stay informed about pet industry trends and new product releases to better assist customers.
  • Help customers compare different products and explain the differences to aid in their decision-making.Sales and Upselling:
  • Use persuasive selling techniques to upsell and cross-sell products, maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets while maintaining a consultative and customer-focused approach.
  • Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.Merchandising and Inventory:
  • Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and displaying merchandise shipments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the store manager.Customer Service:
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.Store Maintenance:
  • Participate in store cleanliness and organization, including dusting, sweeping, and arranging displays.
  • Contribute to the overall store environment by maintaining a tidy and welcoming atmosphere.Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve store goals and maintain a harmonious working environment.
  • Share feedback and insights with colleagues and management to enhance the overall customer experience.
