Senior Security Specialist

Job description

We are looking for Senior Secuirty specialist, whose roles and Respesponsibilities are:
Monitor and maintain Firewalls, switches and any other related equipment and services.

• Monitor networks and make any necessary repairs utilizing available network tools before they cause network outages.
• Ensure that all implemented projects meet best practice security guidelines.
• Plan, schedule, and implement network upgrades, implementations, and migrations in a timely manner, and during times that will have the minimum impact on the users of the affected networks & systems.
• Designing and testing experience related to security.
• Experience with security issues in large scale networks.
• Hands on experience with firewalls, routers, bridges, switches a and gateway devices, appliances and software.
• Be available, oncall, to rapidly troubleshoot any problems resulting from the changes.
• Write technical reports that include suggested resolution for identified problem areas and perform operational risk assessment.
  Qualification:

  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience with security incident responses in a largescale internet operationsenvironment
    • CCNA, MCSE certified or equivalent experience in filed.
    • CISSP, CCSP certification preferred or equivalent experience in filed.
    • Experience with dealing with firewall, switches, security system.
    • Familiarity and experience with security testing and solving problem in security.
    • Familiarity and experience with designing networks.
    • Familiarity and experience with broadcast networks.
    • Relevant professional experience including working knowledge of the following
      technologies:
      • TCP/IP networking including IP classes, subnets, multicast, NAT
      • WINS, DNS, and DHCP, Network troubleshooting
      • Microsoft OS and Server technologies
      • Remote access methods
      • Backup and disaster recovery methodologies
      • Patch management technologies and processes Wireless protocols and services
      • Network analysis tools
        5 Years of Experience in same field.

        Job Types:
        Full-time, Contract

        Contract length: 12 months

        Ability to commute/relocate:

        • Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
          Experience:
          • IT: 5 years (preferred)
